About Me

Hi there! I'm Linsey Roy. I'm licensed to provide services in Virginia, California and Michigan. I'm passionate about working with children of all ages and using a play based approach to treatment. I believe that the most effective therapy comes from providing the "just-right" challenge for your child while still having fun.

My core beliefs and values I apply to treatment are:

  • Parents are the expert on their child

  • Therapy should be fun!

  • Placing a high importance on rapport building and developing a strong trust-based relationship with your child

  • Using a strengths-based approach to treatment

  • Providing sufficient parent education and recommendations to facilitate your child's growth and development outside of therapy

Services

Consultations
$100 -30 min

Consultation services involve discussion of and providing suggestions regarding your child's daily challenges and goal areas.

Evaluations
$300 

Comprehensive evaluation of your child's strengths, difficulties, and discussion of parent concerns, using standardized assessments, to develop a well-rounded treatment plan for your child. 

OT Treatment
$153

Treatment sessions are typically 45-minutes in length on a weekly basis, but may vary depending on your child's specific needs.

Safe and Sound
Protocol
$400

The SSP Protocol is a music + listening program  designed to reduce sound sensitivities, improve auditory processing, behavioral state regulation, and social engagement.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy focuses on helping your child gain confidence and independence in their daily activities, through the skilled use of activity-based interventions.

Examples of skill areas addressed include:

  • Fine Motor/Visual Motor Skills
