Hello!

My name is Linsey Roy, and i'm a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Registered and Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (#20158), and the State of Michigan Board of Occupational Therapists (#5201013263).

Originally from Michigan, I received my Bachelors of Psychology at Grand Valley State University and a Masters of Occupational Therapy at University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA.

My mission for Small Strides OT is to help kids and families collaboratively strengthen and develop their daily living skills, through the therapeutic use of play, within their natural environment. 

I have clinical experience evaluating and treating a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Delays, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity/Disorder.

I'm a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (#408654). I'm trained in the Safe and Sound listening protocol (SSP), and have also completed advanced education on Interoception, as well as University of Southern California's Sensory Integration Certificate Program, with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Early Intervention (Certificate #2091). Additionally, i'm is a level 2 Certified Reiki Practitioner.

My husband and I have lived in the south bay for four years now, with our rescue pup Kenni! In my free time, I love finding new coffee shops and restaurants to try, going for hikes, and wine tasting!
